Customer Support Associate

Overview

We're looking for an experienced Customer Support Associate for a part-time role. The position is fully remote and has flexible hours.

You will work directly with the Head of Operations and will be interacting with our customers as a representative of our company, so you need to be experienced not only in handling all sorts of customer support situations, but also knowing when to escalate and ask for help.

Responsibilities

  • Attract potential customers by answering product questions and suggesting information about other products and services
  • Resolve issues by clarifying the customer’s complaint, determining the cause of the problem, selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem, expediting correction or adjustment, and following up to ensure resolution
  • Recommend potential improvements to products by identifying trends and analyzing customer needs
  • Contribute to help center documentation and updating internal resources

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in customer service type roles
  • Native level of English
  • Creative problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written communication skills with a focus on clarity and accuracy
  • Strong sense of empathy for users and a "customer comes first" mentality
  • Ability to manage one's own time
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Quick learner
  • Bonus: Familiarity with office software like Jira, Help Scout, and Airtable
